GEOLOGICAL DIVISION AT A GLANCE

We provide the following services since 1989.

To propose areas for Geological and Geophysical survey and location for Drilling of Exploratory, Development and Appraisal wells.
To prepare Geological Programme for Drilling.
To formulate methods/ideas for finding out prospective areas and formations for hydrocarbon with the help of Geological, Geophysical, Geochemical and Drilling data.
To make programme for finalizing perforation intervals for DST & production testing to confirmation of HC.

Exploration Geology

To carry out the geological survey.
To collect water, oil and gas samples for analyses.
To prepare geological field report, various geological diagrams and geological cross-sections of the surveyed area.
To evaluate geological, geo-chemical and geophysical data for finding prospective area for hydrocarbon and prepare geological maps for identifying prospective structural maps.
To investigate spot of oil/gas seepage and prepare reports for next steps of investigation.

Basin Study

To evaluate all geological data, previous well data (if any), geophysical and geochemical data of regional /Basin area and identify the hydrocarbon prospect area for future planning.
Hydrocarbon prospect evaluation and well proposal for drilling.
To prepare various regional geological maps with the aim to find out suitable locations for drilling.
To prepare various subsurface geological maps, sections etc.
To evaluate geochemical, geological and geophysical data for finding prospective area for hydrocarbon and migration pattern and to prepare Geological maps for identifying prospective structural traps.
To prepare Basin Model with the help of geological, geophysical, geochemical and Drilling data.

Development Geology

To collect all Geological, Geophysical, Geochemical data of different structures to prepare drilling programme.
To prepare "Geological Technical Order (GTO)".
To evaluate of geological, geophysical and previous well data for correlation and to monitor the well during drilling operation.
To prepare coring programme for wells.
To anticipate formation pressure and temperature of subsurface of the proposed new drilling location/area.
To interpret the anticipated drilling parameters as rock hardness, hole problems, structural dip etc.
To propose of Formation Integrity Test (FIT) programme for a new well.
To prepare various subsurface geological maps and sections.
To make programme for perforation intervals for DST and production testing.

Formation Evaluation & Reservoir Engineering

To prepare wireline logging programme for the drilliable well.
To interpret wireline logs.
To evaluate formations with the interpretation of wire line logs and with different methods.
To select the zones for DST.
To prepare reserve estimation report of gas fields.
